I Finished!
I am behind on my postings but I did want to report that I have completed one of my major goals for the year - I completed the Geist Half Marathon on May 17th. It was a great place that was extremely well organized - a fun run. I stuck to my plan of running 4 minutes and walking 1.
I appreciate everyone’s encouragement. I am now working on my second major goal that has been a lifetime goal of doing a marathon (Akron Marathon in September). To help me with my goal I have hooked up with a local running club. They do a long run every Saturday-a great group of runners.

Still On Track!
Yesterday I completedly a 10 mile training run as I prepare for the Geist Half Marathon on May 17th. I have been staying on track with my training workouts evn though I haven’t been posting them like I should be doing.
